What to Expect at a Specialty Appointment
Knowing what to expect at your first appointment will help make the process more pleasant for both you and your pet.
We ask that you please arrive 10 minutes early for your first appointment to fill out our New Patient Form. To save a bit of time, you can complete the New Patient Form online in advance.
Meet Your Board-Certified Specialist
A member of our specialist team will review your pet's history and discuss their issues with you. You can ask any questions you want, and we'll take the time to answer.
Examination, Diagnosis & Treatment
Once your pet has been assessed, we will provide you with a diagnosis and treatment recommendations. Your veterinary specialist will work with you to determine the best treatment plan for your pet. After your visit, we will also contact your primary care veterinarian and provide a detailed written report about your pet's appointment and treatment plan.
Our Pet Care Philosophy
Our team works as an extension of your primary care veterinarian at those times when advanced medical care is required.
We proudly serve pet owners and veterinarians in Santa Cruz by providing specialist services and procedures not typically available in regular practice.
We will work closely with you, your family veterinarian and our network of specialists to provide the best course of treatment for your beloved pet.
